As I was typing the last post, the doctor came back in and told me that the procedure to remove my current chest tube and replace it with a smaller more malleable one will take place sometime this afternoon, NOT tomorrow. This is good news, in the fact that they are moving quickly which means less time here. Pray that the minor operation (you may call it a procedure if you wish) goes well today, I will be sedated, but not completely put to sleep.

Praise God for a smaller tube, we will be on our knees praying that all will go extra well with your procedure today. You are like Jim A. & Jim L. you want smaller numbers (I think most of the time their's are larger #'s -Golf scores) but don't tell them I said so.
Are you getting to eat "regular" food? I sure hope so!
Jeremy, there is a closer feeling in our Church than I have felt in a lot of years (been there 45) We are all in one accord and it is the most precious feeling to have brothers and sisters in Christ that love each other and love the Lord (and love you soooo much) I know in my heart of hearts that you, my precious friend, are one of the reasons for this wonderful, wonderful church family.I know that Satan tries his best to tear us down when we are on the top of the mountain, but our God is stronger than that. We will overcome and come out on top again.
Love and prayers.

Go back and read Lung Update #32b. My update was inserted before Jeremy's update. I think we are saying the same thing, but it may give you more specifics on how to pray. Love you all!

God is good... all the time. Oh, and Satan is a nerd :).
Praise God for progress.. I know first hand chest tubes and how rough it can be but our God is making progess and I praise him that they have smaller ones that can allow you to become more mobile! Praying that you are in his hands and home soon with us! Love you both!
