Lung Update #15 - Made to Worship

It is 7:15 in the Central Time Zone and many of you are hustling and bustling around trying to get yourselves, and perhaps some wee ones ready for the attendance of a corporate worship with fellow believers. I hope that this week has been inspiring and encouraging so that when you enter into "His House" today you are more aware of His goodness and of His faithfulness and of the ENORMITY that God knows exactly who you are and has a plan specifically for YOU and He takes time out of His day to attend to YOU. The idea of how BIG God is should not be limited to what He has done for Jeremy, or for our family. Realize that the same God that has brought Jeremy so far this week and allowed us such a showering of blessings is the same God that knows every hair on your body and wants to meet with you exactly where you are - no matter how warn, tattered, tainted, disheveled, depressed, exhausted, angry, bitter, frustrated, lonely, guilt-ridden, abused, brazen, arrogant, stubborn, childish (He is great with these), lustful, covetous, anxious, worried, fearful, & sinful you are. He is there. He knows your name. He sees each tear that falls and HEARS YOU when you call. I am overwhelmed with this massive concept. I am reading a book right now, that I cannot wait to finish, that reminded me of that. Just when I feel like I am not usable for the glory of His kingdom because of how I have messed up my life, He intercedes on my behalf and asks the Father to remind me, once more, who I belong to.

Psalm 139:13-18 For YOU created my inmost being, YOU knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise YOU because I am fearfully and wonderfully made: your works are wonderful, I know that full well...How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.

Do you believe that His works are wonderful? Even in times like this with Jeremy, we are in awe of a Creator who could SPEAK into existence MAN. It is the most complicated of all creation and yet God knows how each part is functioning at every second of the day, because HE MADE YOU. Wow! Wow! After He made you, He set things in motion for exactly the amount of time He has ordained for You. (see above passage & also Jeremiah 29:11) What are you doing with the time you have? Live each day as it is your last. Where will you prioritize your time? Today, enter His courts with praise and enjoy one another. Be the church that He designed You to be.

Ephesians 5:19-21 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

As for Jeremy today, the hiccups are slowing - SO KEEP PRAYING! God hears us and will honor this petition to cease this annoyance. The doctor was not as concerned with the fever today as days prior. There are many theories that set in for the cause of it, but it is possible that we just need to get him up and moving a tad more. Pray for that today. It will exhaust him, but overall, it will help the body regain it's functions. They will possibly be doing a CT scan later today to evaluate as to whether or not there is any fluid left on the lung. Pray for the hiccups, still. Pray for tiny bouts of nausea that are slowing. Pray for strength to get up and move about and for endurance. You guys so totally rock. Keep the words of encouragement coming. We are loving the correspondence. Blessings to you all.

Hi Jodi and Jeremy! Today has been a good day here too. Jason would have made the "Lexus" proud.
I think we need to step Jason up from the Toyota status. Don't let Jeremy hurt himself laughing! Can't wait till y'all are back. I know Abbi is missing you! Emma seemed happy as ever today! She was with Emma B. Have a great day!
